Harriet Philpot (Julia Silk) in the 1970s TV series
Harriet 'Harry' Philpot is one of The Two Harries, along with her twin brother Henry (Harry). She lives with her family on Finniston Farm.
Personality[]
The twins are alike in personality and always go together. They seem to be able to read each other's thoughts.[1] At first the Famous Five thought they acted aloof and unfriendly, but they got friendlier as time went on.[2]
Appearance[]
Harriet is described as looking almost identical to Harry, with short brown hair.[3] She is easily mistaken for a boy. The distinguishing feature is that Harriet does not have a scar on her hand, while Harry does.
In the 1990s TV series she had long red hair in two plaits. In the 1970s series, she had shoulder length blonde hair.
