Edgar Stick (later known as Ed Gumptybum) in The Famous 5: On the Case) is the son of Ma Stick and Pa Stick. He is the main antagonist of the episode "The Sticks and Their Tricks. " He is a greedy and ruthless criminal who was after the treasure of Kirrin Island. In order for him to get to it, he and his daughter, Gwen, poisoned a tree, causing it to fall on George's house. When George left the house, they tried to search for the map to the treasure.
However, George returned and saw them looking through her journals. Edgar demanded her to give him the map, only for George to tear it up. After a brief fight, Edgar and Gwen managed to kidnap George and Ravi and locked them up in the dungeon of Kirrin Island, taking the treasure with them. However, as the crooks were leaving the island, (as well as leaving George and Ravi on the island for good), the Famous Five made them drive their boat towards an old shipwreck, causing it to crack. Timmy finished the job by standing on the treasure and sinking the ship. After their defeat, they were presumably arrested.
